Camp New Hope is a summer day camp for children and teens ages 6-17 who are coping with the loss of a loved one.
Besides offering traditional camp activities such as crafts, water games, and sports, Camp New Hope gives children the chance to work through their grief and loss with their peers. Thanks to generous supporters, we are able to offer Camp New Hope free of charge, including lunch and snacks.

Camp New Hope offers children/teens ages 6-18 the opportunity to connect with others their own age who have all experienced the loss of a loved one. This free camp is provided by Delaware Hospice with support from generous community donors.
Campers participate in activities like:
- Music, arts, and crafts
- Mindfulness and coping workshops
- Bereavement exercises and camp activities
- A memorial service honoring lost loved ones
